The Power of Colour

Kolor odgrywa w naszym życiu szalenie ważną rolę. Wpływa na nasz nastrój i podobno nawet na nasze zachowania, komunikuje do naszej podświadomości pewne informacje. Kolor w sztuce i w modzie jest podstawą. Kolor to też pora roku.
Podczas mojej pracy często wykorzystuję katalogi Pantone, bo właściwie to najbardziej powszechny język kolorystyczny w naszej branży.

a dziś paznokcie pomalowałam energetyczną czerwienią Formula Red 19-1763 TPX  :)  Polecam.

Colour plays an extremely important role in our lives. It affects our mood and apparently even our behavior. It  communicates with our subconsciousness. Colour is essential in art and fashion. Colour also reflects the time of year.
At my work I often use Pantone catalogues, because it is actually the most common language of colour in our industry.
It is defined by a degree of intensity and brightness. One colour itself can have an enormous number of shades. The best cameras in the world are in no way a match for the perception of tones by our eye. It is said to be able to distinguish about 60 million shades / shocking /. Such claims are made by the PANTONE company. During a training on the management of colour in fashion, which was organized by Promedia company in BCC in Warsaw, Carola Seybold – the Director for Europe, Africa and Middle East in the Pantone company, talked about the leading colour in the coming seasons and  the effects of colours in the fashion industry.
Color can be measured ....
How to combine colours in the most optimal arrangements, pleasant to the eye and psyche? How to choose the colour of the companies’ trademarks, logos and graphic signs in order to have the exact effect on the client as the branch wants it to be?
Pantone has also electronic gadgets that measure colour even from a computer screen.  70% of our purchase decisions are made on the basis of colour.
Pantone has created a universal language for people working with colour, because every colour has its own number.
As regards colour I have a number of my own theories:
Colour has  a sex/gender, it can be in the shade of the feminine, masculine and even neuter:). Colour definitely influences my mood.
Colours depend on other colours / colour relativism /-just like people ...
and today I painted my fingernails with energetic red Formula Red 19-1763 TPX :)  which I highly recommend.
